Bundle Available May 30th – June 24th, 2019

This is an awesome price on a great Video Surveillance System for your Home or Business. Keep watch and protect what matters most in greater detail than ever before. This powerful 16-channel Network Video Recorder (NVR) is compatible with IP security cameras from 720p to 4K. It uses Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) cabling.

Features available through the compatible Lorex Secure app (such as motion-activated push notifications) will keep you up to date of activity around your property.

This top of the line NVR makes for a formidable cornerstone of your network security system and will help you capture the evidence you need should an intrusion or incident occur.

Experience the 4K difference: Don’t miss a thing with this powerful 4K capable NVR. Record smooth 4K video in real-time (30 frames per second) on all sixteen channels (8mp security cameras required). 4K resolution (3840 × 2160) compared to 1080p resolution (1920 x 1080) will provide you with a new level detail and clarity. This higher pixel count also adds an increased ability to digitally zoom in on distant objects without significant image quality reduction. This means that 4K resolution will offer you the best chance to capture useful evidence such as distinct facial features or license plate numbers if an incident occurs.

Smart monitoring with Lorex Secure app: Introducing Lorex Secure, our exclusive remote access technology for viewing live and recorded video from your security cameras on your smartphone, tablet or computer. The Lorex Secure mobile app is easy to use and ready in 3 steps – just download the free app for iPhone®, iPad® or Android™, scan the NVR’s QR code, and start viewing your cameras from anywhere with no recurring fees. You can also use a web browser on your PC or Mac computer to access your security cameras through the Lorex Secure web viewing portal for peace of mind no matter where in the world you are.

4K Active Deterrence Network Security Camera with Color Night Vision, Audio, and Dual Motion Detection Technology: Add a whole new level of defense to your property with this Active Deterrence 4K IP security camera. With a bright customizable LED light and a remote-triggered siren, this camera is made to stop crime before it even starts. 4K resolution recording, long range Color Night Vision, advanced dual motion detection technology, and a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way talk, also make this security camera a difference-maker.

4K sharpness gets you the details you need: An 8MP image sensor at the core of this security camera is capable of recording a 4K pixel resolution of 3840 × 2160 at 15 frames-per-second (FPS). With 4X the amount of pixels as a 1080p HD security camera, this camera will not only provide you with incredibly sharp and vivid video, it will also allow for greater digital zooms while reviewing footage. This is because the higher number of pixels will keep distant details decipherable for longer as the digital zoom is applied

Video Surveillance Camera Resolution

Why you should install 4K IP Security Cameras!

2K and 4K IP Security Cameras offer the Best Video Clarity Available: The move beyond 1080p full HD image resolution has begun. 2k Extreme HD and 4k Ultra HD (UHD) are now becoming everyday terms when we speak of television screens, computer monitors, or mobile phone resolutions.

What is 2K and 4K?

For an image to be classified as 2K Extreme HD it must have approximately 2000 horizontal pixels.

For an image to be classified as 4K Ultra HD (UHD) it must have approximately 4000 horizontal pixels.

Industry standards typically represent the 2K Extreme HD pixel ratio as 2048 x 1536 & 4K and Ultra HD (UHD) as 4096 x 2160.

Image Resolution Comparison:

720P = Analog MPX = 1-Megapixel (MP) (1280 X 720) (921,600 Pixels)

720P = Digital HD IP = 1-Megapixel (MP) (1280 X 720) (921,600 Pixels)

——————————————————————————————

1080P = Analog MPX = 2-Megapixel (MP) (1920 X 1080) (2,073,600 Pixels)

1080P = Digital Full HD IP = 2-Megapixel (MP) (1920 X 1080) (2,073,600 Pixels)

———————————————————————————————————–

2 X 1080P = Analog MPX = 3-Megapixel (MP) (2048 x 1536) (3,145,728 pixels)

2 X 1080P = Super HD/2K = 4-Megapixel (MP) (2688 x 1520) (4,085,760 pixels)

2.5 X 1080P = Super HD 2K = 5-Megapixel (MP) (2592 x 1944) (5,038,848 pixels)

————————————————————————————————————-

4 X 1080P = Ultra HD (UHD) 4K = 8-Megapixel (MP) (3840 x 2160) (8,294,400 pixels)

Clarity: Higher Resolution Images are incredibly crisp, with sharp definitive lines that distinctly outline every object and feature.

Digital Zoom: A higher quantity of pixels will allow for a higher quality digital zoom so you can see further into the distance.

Color & Night Vision: Larger image sensors capture more light, which improves color, contrast, and improves low-light performance.
