Avaya IP Office Software & Licensing Download Information

Avaya has restricted the ability to download Avaya Software & licensing (Manager, Soft Console, Voicemail Pro, One-x, etc.) from their support web site to Avaya Certified Resellers and customers that have a current/valid Avaya Support Agreement in place. In the case of IP Office, an end-user customer is required to have a current IP Office Support Services (IPOSS) Agreement in place in order to obtain an Avaya log-in (set up an account) that would allow them to access the Avaya support website and download Avaya Software & licensing.

Avaya IP Office Support Services (IPOSS) Agreements are available to customers at Release 8.1 and later of the IP Office. A customer must purchase an Avaya IP Office Support Services (IPOSS) Agreement through an Avaya Certified Reseller.  The Avaya Certified Reseller must follow a strict & detailed Avaya process to properly/accurately register the customer’s IP Office, it’s hardware components, and software entitlements in order to facilitate an Avaya IP Office Support Services (IPOSS) Agreement.  There is a charge from the Avaya Certified Reseller to perform the tasks associated with the IPOSS registration process in addition to the Avaya charge for the IP Office Support Services (IPOSS) Agreement.

For customers who do not have a current/valid Avaya IP Office Support Services (IPOSS) Agreement in place, their options are:

  • To obtain the ability to download Avaya Software & licensing
  1. Upgrade IP Office to R8.1 (or later) if not already there
  2. Purchase an Avaya IP Office Support Services (IPOSS) Agreement
  3. Pay Avaya Certified Reseller to properly/accurately register the customer’s IP Office, it’s hardware components, and software entitlements
  4. Obtain an Avaya log-in (set up an account)
  • To engage an Avaya Certified Reseller to download Avaya Software & licensing
  1. Pay Avaya Certified Reseller to download Avaya Software and/or licensing
  2. Technician will need to be on-site or have remote access to the PC/Server that the Avaya Software & licensing will be downloaded to
