Hosted (Cloud) PBX have a “HIGHER” Total Cost Ownership (TCO) than Premise Based systems

The Myth is that Hosted/Cloud PBX is more expensive upfront than a Premise-Based Telephone System.  That would true if a customer was forced to pay for their telephone system upfront.  The fact is that most manufacturers offer leasing and/or financing at zero or close to zero lending cost, allowing customers a way to spread out the upfront costs.

Even when you add the monthly leasing and/or financing costs to the monthly carrier costs, a Premise Based telephone system is less expensive than a Hosted/Cloud PBX.  Then, after the telephone system is paid for and the monthly costs go down even more, the monthly savings go up.

The Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for a Premise-Based telephone system will ALWAYS be less than that of a Hosted/Cloud PBX.

At some point, you “own” the Premise-Based telephone system.

You never “own” the Hosted/Cloud PBX, you RENT it!

Both options offer you self-administration.

Both options support remote workers.

Both options support mobility solutions. (extension to cellular)

Don’t be fooled by marketing hype, Hosted/Cloud PBX is all about monthly payments that NEVER end.
